Author Guidelines

Prospective authors are invited to click here to submit their contributions for peer review and possible presentation in any of the symposia listed here.

Important IEEE Policy Announcement

The IEEE reserves the right to exclude a paper from distribution after the conference (e.g., removal from IEEE Xplore) if the paper is not presented at the conference.

Papers are reviewed on the basis that they do not contain plagiarised material and have not been submitted to any other conference or periodicals at the same time (double submission). These matters are taken very seriously and the IEEE will take action against any author who has engaged in either practice. IEEE Web Page on Plagiarism: http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/plagiarism.html .
IEEE Web Page on Double Submission: http://www.ieee.org/publications_standards/publications/rights/Multi_Sub_Guidelines_Intro.html .

PLEASE NOTE: To be published in the ICAST 2014 Conference Proceedings and IEEE Xplore, an author of an accepted paper is required to register for the conference and must present the paper at the conference. Non-refundable registration fees must be paid prior to uploading the final IEEE formatted, publication-ready version of the paper. For authors with multiple accepted papers, one registration is valid for up to 3 papers. Accepted and presented papers will be published in the ICAST 2014 Conference Proceedings and in IEEE Xplore.

Paper Submission

During the initial paper submission process via the EasyChair online conference management system, details of the authors MUST NOT appear in the paper. This is to allow a double-blind peer-review process. However, authors should clearly register their details at EasyChair prior to paper submission.

All submissions should be written in English. Full papers have a minimum length of five (5) pages and a maximum length of eight (8) printed pages, including figures. Short papers have a minimum and maxmum of three (3) and four (4) pages, respectively.

Papers should be written to adhere to the standard IEEE Conference Proceedings format. Templates for Microsoft Word and LaTeX can be found here.

Only PDF files and Word/ODT documents will be accepted for the review process and all submissions must be done through EasyChair. Please contact the ICAST 2014 Secretariat if you have any questions about submitting your manuscripts.
